Ave Verum Corpus by Amadeus Mozart

What a marvelous new venture the people of the Sooke Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus have undertaken!

Under the direction of our talented Choral Director, Nick Fairbank, individuals from the orchestra and chorus each worked alone to contribute to this overall musical piece.

Then Nick somehow, through the magic of electronics, melded the solo pieces together to create this short and lovely video of Mozart’s Ave Verum Corpus.

It is beautiful to listen to — and fun to see who one can recognize from the chorus and from the orchestra.  Thanks to all participants for so bravely taking on this challenge.
